As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I am passionate about protecting gay and transgender rights within the United States and supporting LGBTQ+ members and allies living abroad.
Student Loan Reform
The student loan repayment system is extremely difficult for those living in America, and even more so for those living abroad. I support overhauling the system and extending loan forgiveness.
Sustainability Policies
Climate change is an international issue, requiring significant action from the United States government. I will advocate for more ambitious sustainability policies nationally, and increased awareness among DA members.
Women's Rights
Since the repeal of Roe v. Wade, women's rights have been threatened. I am passionate about restoring these rights in the United States to be more in line with international protection of abortion, birth control access, and overall women's health.
Voting Abroad
Every American living abroad has the right to vote in American elections and they should be aware of this right. The DNC is an important international stage to inform all Americans abroad of how easy it is for them to vote.
Regional Chapters
As a Regional Chapter Organiser for DA-UK, I am passionate about engaging American communities found outside of capital cities. These are untapped volunteer and voter bases.
My Passions
My passions stem from my life experiences and my desire to help people in similar situations. Many systems and laws within the United States are prohibitive to safety and progression and need to be overhauled. I would love to see improvement in women's rights, financial systems and many other aspects, so that every American, even those living abroad have every opportunity available to them and feel supported by the Government. The 2024 election is particularly important for driving this change in the coming years.
